A Fantasy Field Trip to The International Dermal Institute

On Thursday, January 31, 2020, our Medical Aesthetic students took an exciting field trip to the International Dermal Institute located in downtown Toronto on King St. West! The students took part in a skin care product workshop that assisted them in furthering their knowledge of all the Dermalogica skin care products and recommending the proper home care routine for clients. Students were also able to engage and interact with one another to understand the importance of product ingredients, how to mix all the different masques, and how to properly use and recommend products that are best suited for clients to ensure client satisfaction and client retention; both key elements in maintaining a high standard within the beauty industry.

Eden College is dedicated to ensuring that our students leave our college with all the fundamental practical skills and knowledge necessary to be confident and excel in their future careers. We enjoy creating new experiences for our students to help them progress and develop their skills.

Eden College also believes in student satisfaction, which is something that we take great pride in. Our students are what represent our school and we always want to ensure that our students feel confident, safe, knowledgeable, and above all, guided through this ever-evolving industry. We always encourage our students to strive for the best and maintain a high level of professionalism as well as learn in a fun and engaging atmosphere. We believe creating the best client experience is vital in the spa industry and is important in maintaining a strong connection and professional relationship with our clients. We listen to our clients' needs so we can create the best experience possible for them which is one of the most important elements that we teach our students here at Eden College in our Skin Care programs.

The trainer at the workshop was really impressed by the students' expertise and knowledge that they have gained thus far in the program! Way to go ladies - keep on learning and aiming high!
